Frank J. DeMento, M.D.
Dr. Frank J. DeMento is a board-certified dermatologist. He completed his undergraduate degree from Fordham University. Dr. DeMento obtained his medical degree from the New Jersey College of Medicine. He completed his Internship and Dermatology Residency in the United States Public Health Service. Continuing his education, Dr. DeMento completed a Dermatology Fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York, NY.
Dr. DeMento is an attending Dermatologist at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center N.Y.C. and is the Chief of Dermatology at Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola, New York.

Karen Wesson, M.D.
Dr. Karen Wesson is a board-certified dermatologist. She received her medical degree and graduated with a Special Distinction in Research from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. Dr. Wesson then completed her Internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, NY. Continuing her post-doctoral education, Dr. wesson completed a residency in the Department of Dermatology at Albany Medical Center, Albany New York. From Oct. 2000 through July 2003 she completed an additional Residency in the Department of Dermatology at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Medical Center, New York, NY.

Daniel Sherer, M.D.
Dr. Daniel Sherer is a board-certified dermatologist who has been in practice on Long Island since 2003. Dr. Sherer trained at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he completed his residency and Dermatopharmacology fellowship during which he participated in numerous clinical trials for new medications used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis, acne, eczema, hair loss, hirsutism, photoaging, wrinkles, Ichthyosis Vulgaris, actinic keratoses, athlete’s foot, wound healing, and laser treatments. Dr. Sherer remains on staff at Mount Sinai as a Clinical Professor where he teaches both dermatology residents and medical students.
Dr. Sherer received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and attended medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical College. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has published over a dozen original articles in professional journals. He was awarded First Prize in the New York Academy of Medicine Resident’s Research Competition and a grant from the National Institute of Health for his research leading to a potential treatment of a connective tissue disease called Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum.

Isabella Ilarda, M.D., F.A.A.R.
Dr. Ilarda received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Syracuse. She completed her undergraduate degree at the City University of New York’s Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. She completed an internship in Pediatrics at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. She has been recognized by the American Academy of Dermatology-Italian Society of Dermatology. Dr. Ilarda has been published in professional dermatologic publications and presented her work before the American Academy of Dermatology and the Eastern Regional Meeting of the Society of Investigative Dermatology. She has conducted basic science research sponsored by Columbia University, speaks fluent Italian and Spanish and holds a Diplomate from the American Board of Dermatology. On staff with Franklin General Hospital, Winthrop. Has held a position as Assistant Clinical professor at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan.
Irene Lu, M.D.
Dr. Irene Lu is a board certified dermatologist. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and also received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania school of medicine. She completed her medical internship at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston and dermatology residency at New York University Medical Center.
Alexandria Booth, M.D.
Dr. Booth is a board-certified dermatologist that enjoys all aspects of skin healthcare including the medical and cosmetic concerns of her patients. She received her medical degree from UCLA Medical School and stayed in sunny Los Angeles to complete her internship at the UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Booth completed her residency in the Department of Dermatology at NYU Medical Center in New York, NY.
Lilly-Rose Paraskevas, M.D.
Dr. Lilly-Rose Paraskevas earned her medical degree at Cornell University Medical College, graduating with Honors in Research for her studies in HPV and chlamydia infection. She was trained in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and in Dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she conducted studies in acne treatment.
Dr. Lilly-Rose Paraskevas has a clinical interest in adverse drug reactions, vulvar dermatology and pigmented lesions. She is trained to meet the aesthetic desires of her patients using botox, fillers and skin rejuvenation procedures.
Dr. Lilly-Rose Paraskevas is a native New Yorker who began as a professional dancer and fine artist, training at the School of American Ballet and attending LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and the Performing Arts. She started her academic career at Hunter College, where she researched the molecular biology of cancer as well as conducted chemistry studies. She graduated at the top of her class and was the recipient of the Salk Award, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a CUNY graduate.
